Zabaione

Ingredients
  • 4 egg yolks
  • 4 tbsp granulated sugar
  • 4 tbsp white wine
  • 2 tbsp amaretto
Preparation

In a saucepan, place the egg yolks, sugar and liquids and whisk for about 1 minute. Place the saucepan on the stovetop on low heat. Beat vigorously for about 7-10 minutes.When it starts to foam, raise the heat and whisk until thick, creamy and foamy. Immediately pour into serving glasses. Serve with some Italian biscotti or amaretti cookies.
